Who can send a request
Template creators, copyright owners, and people authorized to act for them can send a request. This includes credit corrections, where a template is listed under the wrong name. We cannot act on requests from people who do not own the work or speak for its owner.
What to include
- Your details. Your full name and a working email address.
- The page on our site. The full address of each page you want removed or changed.
- Your work. A short description of what you own, with proof such as a link to your CapCut profile or the original post.
- What you want. Removal, or a credit change to a specific name.
- Good faith statement. A line saying you believe the use is not allowed by you, your agent or the law.
- Accuracy statement. A line saying the information is accurate and that you are the owner or allowed to act for the owner.
- Signature. Your typed full name is enough.
How to send it
Email your request to [email protected] with the subject line "Removal request" or "Credit request". You can also reach us through our contact page.
What happens next
We reply within 72 hours. If your request is complete, we remove the template card or fix the credit, then confirm by email. If something is missing, we will ask for it.
We do not host template files. Removing a card takes the link off our site, but the template itself stays in CapCut until it is removed there.
Reporting a template inside CapCut
Templates are hosted by CapCut, so you can also report a template directly in the app using CapCut's own reporting tools. In most cases, you will find a report option in the menu on the template screen. This is the way to get it taken down everywhere, not only on our site.
Counter notices
If you think a template was removed by mistake, email us with the page address and a short explanation. False or misleading claims can have legal consequences, so please only send requests you believe are true.
