How do you shoot gentle light with any phone?

Start by wiping the lens. A greasy lens adds an uneven haze that looks like a mistake, not a style. Face the light at an angle and never stand with a bright window right behind you, or your face turns dark.

Tap your face on the screen to focus, then slide the exposure down a little so bright areas do not turn pure white. For video, choose 1080p at 60fps in the camera settings if your phone offers it, because the extra frames make slow zooms look smoother. Hold the phone at eye or chest height and move slowly, with both hands close to your body.

Filling the template, step by step

1. Open it. Tap Use Template in CapCut on the template page. On a computer, scan the QR code with your phone instead. Our guide on how to use a CapCut template shows each screen.
2. Choose your media. In CapCut, tap Use template and select your photos and clips in the order you want them to appear.
3. Check every slot. Play the preview. Tap any slot to replace it, or move the clip so its best moment is the part that shows.
4. Edit the text. If the version has a name or caption, change it to your own.
5. Export and post. Pick 1080p if the export screen offers it, save to your gallery and post in 9:16 to Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts.

Why does my fantasize edit look washed out?

The template adds glow and lifts the shadows. If your photo is already very bright or hazy, the two effects stack and the picture turns milky. Use photos with normal contrast, do not add a beauty filter on top, and avoid screenshots or images saved from chat apps, because they lose detail and the glow makes it obvious.
