How does a CapCut slow motion template with neon effect work?

What footage makes neon pop?

Contrast. Neon colours stand out on dark or plain backgrounds and disappear on busy, bright ones. Wear solid colours instead of loud prints, and stand a metre or two away from the wall so the outline has space around you. Keep your full body or half body in frame, and avoid crowds behind you, because extra people confuse the outline.

Night city backgrounds with soft, blurry lights are perfect, as long as your own face is lit. A dark face on a dark street gives the app nothing to trace. Moving shots help too: a slow spin, a jacket flick or a walk past the camera gives trails and outlines something to follow.

Can you film light trails safely?

Stay safe: traffic light trails look amazing, but film them from a footpath, a bridge with railings or a parked car, never from the road and never while driving. Sparklers should be held away from faces, hair and clothes, with an adult nearby.

Fixing neon edits that look messy

If the outline jumps to the background, step further from the wall and wear a colour that contrasts with it. If the glow covers your face, choose a version with a thinner line or film a little further away. Grain means you need more light, not more editing.
